In all our headrest screen installations we aim to install the screen boxes behind the trim in order to maintain a flush fit. Most importantly with this type of installation the screen does not protrude as in so many unprofessional installations.
At AV Solutions we have specialised in the installation of monitors in to the hard backed safety headrests for many years. We have developed a technique for installing into this type of headrest that still allows the headrest to function correctly.
The headrest monitors we generally use have a dual inputs, this allows for DVD to be viewed on one monitor and any other source (TV, Games console etc) to be played on the other and visa-versa. we also combine this with Dual channel cordless headphones, allowing each rear passenger to watch and listen to different sources.

HARD BACKED SAFETY HEADRESTS

With many manufacturers now installing safety headrests as standard it has become challenging to install headrest screens in the hard backing. Hard backed safety head restraints are now coming standard in most new vehicles . This is making the installation of headrest monitors more challenging .

At AV Solutions we have been working with this type of headrest to enable the installation of a headrest monitor without interfering with the safety system . Most importantly making the installation look factory fitted, unlike the universal fitted replacement headrests that are available on the market that do not look factory.

GAME CONSOLES

We are able to install most of the Game Consoles that are available on the market, all consoles are professionally installed and include a 12 volt conversion for car use.

FRONT SCREEN INPUTS

Front screen Av inputs are available for most modern vehicles fitted with factory navigation screens. These adaption kits enable TV/DVD picture to be viewed on this screen.

DIGITAL TV TUNER

Since the Digital Switchover in car Digital TV Tuners have become very popular. The technology has now become much more advanced with discreet boosted antenna’s and the capability to also receive digital radio. TV Tuners can be added to both the front screen (via front screen input interface) or any of our rear entertainment packages.

10.2 INCH WIDESCREEN ROOF MONITOR WITH BUILT IN DVD PLAYER

We offer a range of roof monitor packages with sizes ranging from 7 inch widescreen to 15.2 inch widescreen, Roof Monitor Combo’s with built in DVD Players are also available with sizes up to 12.2 inch Widescreen

RANGE ROVER SPORT 10.2 ROOF MONITOR

Roof monitors are available in various colour options which help keep the installation looking as factory fitted as possible.This Range Rover Sport was fitted with a fully motorized 10.2 inch DVD combination unit. The vehicles ultra sonic alarm module was removed and relocated further back in the roof lining.

VOLVO XC90 HEADREST & ROOF MONITOR INSTALLATION

In most large 4×4’s there is a 3rd row of seats, in the Volvo XC90 in the picture to the right we installed 2 Headrest Monitors and fitted a 7 inch widescreen roof mount monitor for 3rd row viewing

DIRECT FACTORY CONNECTION DIGITAL TV TUNER

We now stock a wide range of DVB-T Tuner kits that can be controlled directly from the factory navigation system. The kits are equipped with vehicle specific harness that allow seamless installation which also allow trace free removal of components if the vehicle is sold.

UPGRADE YOUR ANALOGUE TV TUNER TO DIGITAL

Since the Digital TV switchover many cars equipped with analogue tv tuners have been left with no signal. At AV Solutions we are able to install a Digital TV Tuner through your existing screen . Prices start from £350 inc installation.
